Disney Games: 5 Best Selling Disney Games Of 2014
1. Disney Games: The Little Mermaid Under the Sea Treasures Game
This game is simple and my five year old enjoys it. I like that it doesn’t have a lot of little pieces to get lost. There are little puzzle piece doors with different characters and then when it’s your turn you pick a card that tells you what treasure to find (ex: pink shell, statue, anything purple, etc.) and you add that to the pile of things everyone is looking for, spin the spinner and that will tell you which puzzle piece door to lift (ex: Ariel or King Triton) and then you lift and look to see if there are any of those treasures under that door.
2. Disney Games: Disney Junior Scrabble Board Game
This is an awesome game to help with recognition of letters and help for beginning readers. The other side of the board is regular scrabble so it will definitely grow with them. Well made and makes learning fun!
3. Disney Games: Disney Princess Matching Game
There are 4 of each card and some of the characters on the cards are Belle, Aurora, Rapunzel, Snow White, Ariel, Cinderella, Mrs. Potts, Sebastian, Flounder, and Pascal, so it has other characters from the movies in addition to just the princesses. The cards are thick and durable and all the photos on them are so bright and colorful.
4. Disney Games: Disney Haunted Mansion Clue
Excellent spin on the traditional Clue game with Disney’s Haunted Mansion and characters replacing the originals. No murders here, just “haunts” by fun-loving spirits. Some may object to the occult-overtones and “dark” flavor of the game, but most will enjoy the game in the “spirit” in which it was intended. Good, clean, engaging fun for the whole family.
